A Note from Ms. Campbell:
Hello! My name is Allie Campbell and I am thrilled to be starting my seventh school year at VPE! Before beginning my roles as a Child Guidance Specialist and District Mental Health Specialist, I served as a Group Leader in the VPE after-school program while completing my bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky.  This year, I will be primarily working with 1st, 3rd and 5th grades, however, I am available to assist with any grade levels. I have loved getting to know your students and am looking forward to another wonderful year here at Veterans Park Elementary!

A Note from Ms. Moon:
Hello! My name is Kayla Moon and this is my third year working on our wonderful counseling team at Veterans Park. After receiving my Bachelors degree in Public Relations from Valparaiso University, I worked in various Public Relations positions but decided to make a career change to School Counseling. I graduated with my Masters in School Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in December of 2021. This school year, I am primarily working with Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades. However, I am available to assist with all grade levels, as needed. I adore working with the kids at VPE and know we will have an exciting and fulfilling school year!

A Note from Mr. Barth:
Hello! My name is Paul Barth and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. This is my third year here at VPE where I serve as one of the District Mental Health Specialists! Prior to VPE, I worked many years with children and adolescents as either an outpatient or in-home therapist. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky. I’ve been married for 18 wonderful years, and I stay very busy with my three amazing children ages 9, 11, and 13. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), my clinical focus has been helping children who struggle with defiant/oppositional behaviors, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and ASD. For parents, I am available for consultation regarding your child's emotional, behavior, or mental health needs and/or any parenting concerns/needs you may have. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

A Note from Mr. Hairston:
Hello! My name is Dorian Hairston, and I am ecstatic to serve as VPE's MTSS Behavioral Coach for the 23-24 school year. After receiving my bachelor's and first master's degree from the University of Kentucky, I received an MAT in Secondary Education from the University of the Cumberlands. This year marks my sixth year in Fayette County Public Schools as an educator, and as a former student at VPE, I can't express how excited I am for this new role. I currently serve as the Chair of the FCEA Diversity and Equity Committee and will begin my first term as a member of the Board of Directors of FCEA in the fall of 2023. While most of my experience is in the high school classroom, I am thrilled to apply the skills learned from those experiences and many others to help all students get the most out of the wonderful education VPE and its staff have offered since its doors opened in 1997. Please let me know what I can do to help, and I look forward to another fantastic year!
