After School Clubs-Grades 2-5

The following clubs will take place every Wednesday from 2:35 p.m.-3:45 p.m. from September 20 - November 1 (no clubs the week of October 4th due to Fall Break). Clubs are offered to students in grades 2-5 only. There are no clubs for students in grades K and 1. Signup using this link: https://forms.gle/ejURra8LShNKDAfbA Signing up online DOES NOT guarantee your child a spot in the club. Names will be drawn randomly from the list and those students will be notified if they are enrolled in the club. This is NOT first come, first serve. Club sign ups will end on Friday, September 15th at 8:00am. Late sign-ups will not be accepted. Please only sign up for ONE club.

 

Minecraft Club: Calling all builders! Minecraft Club is an afterschool group for students to work through Minecraft activities and challenges that are fun and creative. We will use our school issued Chromebooks to complete challenges and designs using Minecraft Education. All skill levels are welcome! This club will be open to 24 intermediate (4th & 5th grade) students.

 

Board Game Club: Are you up for a little friendly competition and want to learn some new and exciting board games or card games? If so, then join Mr. Barth for a board games group after school! This club will be open to five fifth grade students.

 

Drama Club: In the dramatic arts, talents of all types are required. The tech-savvy create the stunning sound effects and lighting. The artistic design the clever props, beautiful backdrops, and fabulous costumes. The dramatic become the enchanting characters on stage. Together they entertain the crowd. If you can see yourself in any of these descriptions, join us for drama club. We will take a script and design the set, sound effects, and stage blocking. We will perform in front of a group of peers from Patriots Place on the final day of club. This club is open to 15 second and third grade students.

 

Lego Club: In this club, students will build on creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking skills and cooperation in order to use Legos to build solutions to various engineering design challenges. This club is open to 12 students in grades 3-5.

 

Just Dance Club: In this club, students will develop physical skills and kinesthetic awareness, explore choreographic processes and create dance performances for peers to interact and engage with each other. This club will be open to 10 students in second and third grade.
